What is an EOS Scorecard?

The Scorecard is EOS's weekly measurement habit: a single sheet of 5–15 numbers, each with one owner and a weekly goal, read aloud at every Level 10 Meeting as simply on track or off track. It's deliberately not a dashboard — it's small, weekly, and owned, so the leadership team feels the pulse of the business without opening five tools.

What belongs on it

Why scorecards fail

The failure mode is almost always the same: too many numbers, no owners, reviewed monthly, abandoned by week six. A working scorecard is boring on purpose — the same handful of numbers, the same voices, every single week. Boring is the feature; the drama belongs on the issues list.

Doctrine-free note: our scorecard starter pack ships five department metric libraries with owners, directions, and suggested targets — pick 5–8 and cross out the rest. It works whether you call it a Scorecard, KPIs, or just “the numbers.”

Run the meeting, not just the vocabulary

Vetta is a doctrine-free operating rhythm — it speaks EOS, OKRs, or plain English, and runs the weekly review as a live, multiplayer meeting.
